IT IS YOUR BEESWAX
Featuring information each month about the lotion ingredients, the countries they come from, and sometimes... a recipe.
Coming soon… Beesilk Jr!
“I love the hard lotion for my hands and feet but would love it to be softer for sensitive spots, and for easier application on my newborn.”
The people have spoken.
We now will have Beesilk Jr. available.
This has the same ingredients as the Beesilk bar, but with less beeswax and more shea butter, so it’s easier to apply to soft or sensitive skin. It comes in a round tin; it’s thicker (less greasy) than a salve yet softer than a bar.
Who’s it for? Those with sensitive skin or for those who want to cover a larger area of skin. Keep the hard lotion bar for hands and feet, and use Beesilk Jr for legs and arms.
Look for it in September.
A Summer Skin Care Recipe
Both coconut oil and sesame oil contain natural sunscreen properties. Used as a tanning oil, they can allow you to prolong the time you’re out in the sun before burning. This is one of five recipes in my Buttered Life e-book series, the summer edition:
Combine 6 parts coconut oil to 1 part sesame oil. Shake and apply to skin. It's THAT easy!
