If you want to save the calories for indulging in fudge, I suggest you try coconut water.

You can find it bottled, but I prefer it fresh from the coconut. (Hand a coconut and a drill to a 10 year old and in minutes you’ll hopefully have your coconut ready to drink.)

It’s low in calories, rich in electrolytes (potassium, magnesium and calcium), and contains 1/5 the sugar of other fruit juices, yet still has a pleasantly sweet flavor. The flesh of a young coconut is delicious, too… it’s slippery and scoops right out of the shell.

It’s one more reason to love coconuts: coconut oil in your hard lotion bar and now coconut water in your drink.
